This policy explains which personal data are processed when you visit mabofish.es or contact us, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

What data we process and why
This website has no forms, user accounts or newsletter, and uses no analytics or advertising tools.
- Contact by phone, WhatsApp or email: we process your name, your number or address and what you write to us, in order to reply and to handle your booking or order. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Online bookings: the “Book a table” button opens Google's booking service. The data you enter there are processed by Google and its booking provider under their own policies; we receive the booking details (name, phone number, date, time and number of guests) to arrange your table.
- Browsing: our hosting provider records technical data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser) in order to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the operation and security of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Google Maps: the map only loads if you accept it. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may use cookies. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). More information in the Cookie policy.
How long we keep the data
Contact and booking data are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request or manage the booking and, after that, only while a legal obligation exists or liabilities may arise. The hosting provider's technical logs are kept for a limited period, in line with the provider's policy.
Who the data are shared with
We do not sell or pass on your data. The providers that host and maintain the website have access to them as data processors. The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States); international transfers take place under the safeguards provided for in the GDPR (EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses). Google, WhatsApp, Instagram and Tripadvisor process your data as independent controllers when you use their services. We may also disclose data to the authorities where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to mabofishlaspalmas@gmail.com or to the postal address shown above. If you believe the processing does not comply with the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Minors
This website is not aimed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or to the law. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
